Collard Green Dip

This dip is a part of my summer series recipes, but you can use it anytime you want. Great for game and movie nights too!




INGREDIENTS

8 oz cream cheese

3/4 cup shredded Swiss cheese

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 Tbsp minced shallot

1 tsp minced garlic

3/4 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp kosher salt

15oz bag of frozen chopped collard greens (thawed and drain)



INSTRUCTIONS

You will need a baking dish for this dip. Oven preheated to 375. Served 8


Stir together cream cheese, Swiss cheese, mayonnaise, parmesan cheese, shallots, black pepper and salt. Mix well and fold in the thaw and drained collard greens. Spread in a 3-4 cup baking dish. Top with a few sprinkles of the Swiss and Parmesan cheese. Bake in the oven at 375 until bubbly, about 30-35 minutes.

This dip is great served on baguette slices, pita chips or corn chips.


Optional:

Add bacon and extra cheese to the top before baking. You can also drizzle some hot sauce on the top before serving.
