1 pound cream cheese at room temperature
3/4 pound (3 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon pure lemon juice
3 1/2 cups of confection sugar
In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, on low speed, cream together the butter adding the cream cheese in parts scraping occasionally. Add the vanilla and lemon juice. Add the confectioner sugar gradually and mix until smooth and fluffy.
