Bacon Butter

Bacon always makes a dish taste better. So what can be can be better than bacon butter? Bacon butter and a biscuit! Quick and easy to make and a definite table pleaser. Enjoy on burgers, seafood, popcorn and more!


8-10 slices cooked bacon

1/2 cup butter

1 tablespoon chopped chives or green onion

1/2 teaspoons onion powder

1 teaspoon fresh grated garlic

1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)

How to make

  1. STEP 1 Cook bacon in large skillet over medium heat 3-5 minutes per side or until crisp. Drain on paper towel-lined plate. Reserve 1 tablespoon bacon fat.

  2. STEP 2 Place bacon, butter, reserved bacon fat and pepper in food processor bowl fitted with metal blade. Pulse until well combined.

  3. STEP 3 Spoon butter mixture into small bowl; refrigerate until ready to use.
